How to submit a good question.

The best FoxCast questions are practical, measurable, and tied to a decision window.

1. Name the decision

Tell FoxCast who needs the answer and what decision could change.

2. Give a deadline

Use language like “before planting,” “by harvest,” “within 60 days,” or a specific date.

3. Make the outcome observable

A good question can be judged later. Avoid questions that only ask whether something “feels likely.”

4. Keep it local if local matters

County, region, commodity, or business context makes the answer more useful.
